Introdoction

The province of Mazandaran with 24000 square kilometer , is located south of the Caspian sea in northern iran . Mazandaran has a humid climate with abundant rainfall.

Goals of the Company

The study an construction of water development projects

Provision of (not distribtion) municipal water

Supervision of water use

Protection of  ground water from salinizanion

Control of surface water by constructing storage dams irrigation and drainage network

Hydropower

Rresearch of water resource

Costal protection

Training of personel toto achieve the above goals

Climate of the province

Average annual participation in the west of Mazandaran is 1,400 mm. but only 600 mm. in the east . The average annual percipitation of the province is 750 mm
